Butterfly World in Coconut Creek is a fantastic nature experience in South Florida.

The House

Butterfly World is a large enclosure with a massive collection of butterflies and exotic birds we’ve found. It is beautiful and well maintained. In the past, they even have had hummingbirds. They had assured me that the regulatory issue that had prevented them from having them during this visit was been addressed and they will return soon!

The property is a collection of enclosures, beautiful flowers, and water features. They have an extensive collection of passion flowers, a few of which you can see below. Take your time, and be patient and you can enjoy the beauty and get some beautiful photos.

The Area

Coconut Creek is in the Pompano Beach area. The part of Florida is a foodie paradise! Cuban, Jewish, Brazilian, Italian…whatever you are hungry for, it is here. There is great shopping, beautiful beaches, and a vibrant collection of people from cultures throughout Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe.
